Travel Agencies don't use them!I always book flights directly with the airlines, but my mom went through a travel agency this time because flights were cheaper. Well, I'm having to change my flight because I need to come home earlier than originally planned and, oh, guess what? The travel agency wants to charge us not only the difference in price between flights, but $220
just to make the changes. It ends up being cheaper to just book a new one-way trip on my own and not even cancel my old flight.
Yes, that's right. It's cheaper to
not cancel my flight. So why they hell would I cancel it? I just booked a flight for $295 because it was cheaper than the $356 it would have cost me to make changes through the travel agency. So now I have two return flights.
WHAT THE HELL?
How do they get off on charging such ridiculous fees? Why would anyone put up with that? Oh, and not to mention the $60 they charge upfront just for you to
talk to them on the phone. What an effing rip off.

My mother had the same difficulties, and it was so hectic and uh
let's just say my family household was not the funnest place to be at that moment.
I could've baked yeast with all that tension in the house.

Wow, I had no idea they did that. Hmm, my mom uses a travel agent... She's got a problem with plane tickets too, though with her it isn't where she purchases the tickets, but when. A week before the trip? Could've saved $500 if she'd bought them months ago when the trip was planned.
